I finally got a new car....well it's new to me but it is a new used car. Chad and I went after I got off work today to look at cas. Being the spontaneous people that we are...we bought one. It is a 2008 Ponitac G6. It is white with tan enterior and I really like it. It is really nice because it doesn't scream going down the highway like the Saturn did. As a matter of fact, Chad said "So who did you call on your way home?" My response "Nobody." Needless to say, he didn't believe me. I told him that it was nice to be able to hear the radio and to hear my beautiful voice singing to it.
On the way to the car place Rylee said the sweetest thing. She said "You're pretty Mommy." It was the sweetest thing to hear after a long exhausting day. Right after she said that she said "You're pretty Daddy." "Daddy toot!" hehehehe....
a word of advice from a tired mommy....don't take a 2 year old and a 8 month old to buy a car. They did pretty good for not having much to play with. If I would of known that we were going to be there for 3+ hours, I would have brought some toys. Luckily, I found some random M&Ms in my purse to give to Rylee and a jar of baby food to entertain Reese.
Well, I think I am too tired to think about what to type next so I am going to end it here. Goodnight all!

Ok Ok Here we go with this blog thing
Well after enough pestering from my dear sister I am finally going to start a blog. As bad as my memory is and as busy as we constantly are I don't want to forget about some special moments in our lives. I also want to share my genius babies accomplishments with others. So it is practically a brag blog. Yep, a brag blog. Well, no matter what you call it I think that Shannon will be happy that I am doing it.
I did some thinking today while keeping 2 babies under control at a funeral...when it is my time to go, I want my girls to know all the funny stories and things that they did when they were little. I think by doing this they will be able to find it one day and laugh. Maybe they will laugh because their Mom is just a big dork or maybe they will laugh when they realize they are just like me. So, I can't always promise that it will be entertaining or that it will make sense but I can promise that it will be real life....our life. Ok that sounded just like something my mom would say.
Now to the fun part....the introducing of the geniuses:
Rylee is 2 going on 15. She says new things everyday that make Chad and I look at each other in disbelief. She is fiesty but has a very kind heart. She loves to be the center of attention and does not like to share the spotlight. She is very smart and catches onto things quickly. She is very detail oriented. She gets that from her Dad, thank God. Today on the way to the funeral she talked the entire time. One thing that sticks out in my head was this
Rylee: "Rylee toot"
Daddy: "Did you toot?"
Rylee: "Yeah, I promise."
Reese, on the other hand, is nothing like her sister. She is very quiet and most always happy. She knows how to get attention without trying. Her smile can light up a room as cheesy as that sounds. She watches everything her sister does and tries to replicate it. She crawls (scoots) all over the house. She is starting to pull up on things and she is also a very quick learner. I can't wait to see who she becomes!
Well I guess that is all for now but I am sure that it won't be long before my little geniuses get me typing again.
